One service leads to another

The European Student Card (ESC) is a standard of recognition that student service providers are gradually adopting.

The ESC-tension project encourages all service providers to adopt the ESC, allowing them to recognize student status across the European Union without the need for complicated bureaucratic processes.

With a simple QR code on their ESC, students can often bypass the paperwork typically required to access special discounts or services available to students in mobility. These services can range from food options in university canteens, housing, library access, healthcare, and many more, both on and off campus.

It’s important to note that many other service providers are also adapting to make their services accessible to students with an ESC.

Be sure to check with your host university to discover all the services available to you and other European students in mobility thanks to your ESC.

ESC welcomes you to the European Education Area Community!
