The ESC-tension Weeks around Europe
The ESC-tension project officially came to an end on October 31, meeting the expected results. The opportunity to disseminate these results was represented by the “ESC-tension weeks”, the national events hosted by the 7 core partners in 6 countries, between 18 and 28 October.
The Italian partners ENDISU and EDUCatt were the first to open the series of events on 18 October in Milan. The second event was organized by the European Campus Card Association on 19 October in Amsterdam and hosted by the Associate Partner Inepro. Following these two events in presence, the German workshop was held online on 20 October. On 21 October both the Polish and the Spanish conferences took place, respectively organized and held at the University of Lublin and the University of Malaga.
The very final event was organised by the European Students’ Union on 28 October in Brussels, the beating heart of the European institutions. This last appointment followed the closing meeting of the ESC-tension consortium which took place on the previous day and gathered the partners to discuss the latest project developments, the main issues raised during the ESC-tension weeks, as well as the future perspectives and other administrative and reporting topics.
All the events gained the interest of the Higher Education stakeholders, including universities, service providers, Erasmus+ National Agencies, organisations involved in the development of the ESC Initiative and, of course, students. This active participation confirms that, despite the project being formally concluded, the work on the ESC and its ecosystem will keep on going.
